The second in the saga of Merlin and Arthur, told mainly from the perspective of the legendary enchanter. I'll be straight with you, the first 300 pages were enjoyable but a little plodding, but once Arthur actually came along and began to take his birthright, the last hundred pages whirled by in magic, mysticism, and excitement. It makes me really keen to start the next one.
