What a weird book! The concept was great, but I think the execution was a little off. Certainly not the storyline I was expecting but the ending was great! Just would have liked a bit more coherent storyline that really helped to relay what was going on more succinctly. At times it felt too vague and the plotlines involving the wife and the sketchy past felt too much like an untapped resource that could have aided the story along.

This is definitely acquired taste of a book. I made it through but not my cup. Definitely not for everyone...
