Wow. That was an incredible follow up to her first book. I kept being hit by all of the plot twists that I should have expected but sure didn’t see coming. What would you do to secure the safety of your family? What wouldn’t you do? I love the characters in this duo-logy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book and was very excited when I saw that a sequel had been published. For whatever reason, I had a hard time connecting with the story and the characters. I think perhaps it had been too long since I had read the first book and was trying to remember details... Overall it was still a good read.
