I’m so happy this sequel lived up to the first and actually answered so many of the lingering questions I had. The story pulls you right back into Hannah and Bailey’s world, but this time with a stronger sense of urgency and higher stakes. It felt more tense throughout, with that constant underlying pressure that something could go wrong at any moment.

This sequel to "The Last Thing He Told Her," is good, but not as good, I don't think, as the first book. We're back with the same characters and Laura Dave helps refresh our memories. Okay for a holiday weekend read, yet not spectacular.
