I loved the mixed use of settings in this book as it jumped between Ireland during the famine and present-day New York City, but weaved them together through ancestral connections! I definitely preferred this book to The Outside Boy, but American Dirt still remains my favorite out of the Jeanine Cummins books I have read :)
