I’m a big fan of Ms. McManus’ writing style. She has a way of keeping you guessing but always drawing you in. Her books remind me a lot of Agatha Christie whose books I’m also a fan of.
This novel was really good! The plot, characters, and dialogue were well crafted and she delivered around each corner. There was a brief section around page 275 that I thought I was not going to like how it ended but she wrapped everything up excellently!

It was alright. I just felt like it was a bit anticlimactic. And I wasn’t ever on the edge of my seat, which I feel like a good thriller or suspense novel is supposed make you be.

Love this book!!! The plot twist at the end shocked me and so many twists throughout the book I totally wasn’t expecting!!!! This is the first book I read by McManus, and I will definitely be reading more of her books!
