This was an interesting read, in both the good and the bad ways. Itâs a thriller set in a celebrity detox center, and the people who are working to heal their addictions are the main players. I havenât read many books where addiction plays an important role without being used primarily as a tragedy, and reading Cate Quinnâs disclosure about her personal history with it added another layer to this narrative.
As a thriller, I found that it was difficult as times to suspend my disbelief without sacrificing overall enjoyment while reading. Some of the charactersâ behaviors didnât make much sense (even in context of the setting). Also, I felt that portrayal of certain mental disorders may have been a bitâ¦inaccurate? One dimensional?
Overall, this isnât necessarily a book Iâd purchase but I do think itâs a fun read if youâre a fan of thrillers. Itâs set to release on January 23, so keep your eyes peeled for its upcoming appearance on bookshelves! And as alwaysâthanks so much to the publishers for sharing this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Good plot twists
I could not put it down!
A bit slowly unraveling but it was interesting. I am giving it 3.5 stars because it was missing something that would keep me reading. I enjoyed the setting of the environment and the drama, but it was kinda okay...
