If you can't trust yourself, who can you trust?

Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods. It was on the winding rural road, in the middle of a downpour, and a woman was sitting inside--the woman who was killed. She's been trying to put the crime out of her mind; what could she have done, really? It's a dangerous road to be on in the middle of a storm, and she probably would have been hurt herself if she'd stopped. This is my second B.A Paris book and she’s now 2/2 in mine. The way she captures you from the beginning of the book is genius, because it keeps me hanging on, wanting more and more and more. The characters were well played and made it difficult to figure out what truly happened. But BABY, I didn’t see the ending coming , not in 100 lifetimes and for me, that’s what truly makes me a fan. Another book well done

This book had me really annoyed with the main character throughout most of the book, at least the first half, and I thought maybe the title should’ve been Silent Calls but I told myself to stick with it and I’m glad I did. The story unravels into a much better mystery towards the end, I couldn’t put it down until I was done. Happy reading through to the end!

This book really had me questioning my own sanity. At 18 years of age I was convinced I was losing my own memory. And an amazing twist at the end!
