Short story of two sisters, who inherit a bookstore after their parents die.

Reminiscent of Practical Magic without the magic. Charming!

This was such a fun little story. I am a little shocked at how much I was able to visualize and care for these characters. I was able to see the sisters and feel what they felt. Alice Hoffman is an incredible writer. Anyway, this was a tale of love and loss and friendship between two sisters whose parents died when they were young. One chooses to runaway from her problem’s and the other face it, if you want a tale about that, then definitely a must pick-up read.

Great short story by Alice Hoffman. Going to start the next book in the series.
