The bonus (TL Swan) 10/10 Grace & Gabriel. Grace is Gabriel’s pa she is in love with him after 7 years she hands in her notices and buys a house 8 hours away. They have a one night stand at the Christmas party. Gabriel is a ceo at a media company. The morning after the one night stand he just lets Grace go. Grace finds out she is pregnant goes to New York to tell Gabriel but a mis communication means she thinks he doesn’t want to see her. Grace raises twins for 6 years Gabriel gets engaged and 3 weeks before the wedding he finds out about the twins. He buys a house where she lives to get a relationship with the kids . He was always in love with Grace so cancels the wedding and tries to win her back. He never told her in the first place because he didn’t want to be like his father who ran off with his pa. He eventually wins her back they get engaged and move to New York and visit the house on weekends.
I absolutely loved the Miles High Club series, so getting to see a book about Gabriel was nice. I can't put my finger on it, but this book is different than the series...in all the best ways.
This literally had my chest tight with emotion from the very beginning. I felt like I could actually feel the pain that Gabriel and Grace were feeling. I was either in tears or stressed the entire time I was devouring this. And I devoured it in one sitting. I was really rooting for Gabe and Grace and am so glad they got their happily ever after.
