The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King (Crowns of Nyaxia Book 2)

I undoubtedly loved this book. However, I feel like it could’ve been about 200 pages shorter. There were parts early on that I felt like were unnecessary & I wished the story would just progress. I’m super happy with the ending & hoping we get to find out about what happened to Septimus in future books!

Great conclusion to Raihn and Oraya’s story, wrapping it up nicely while leaving small portions open for the future books. Nice to see Raihn’s POV, which I think was needed after the ending of the 1st book! I thought Oraya’s journey through grief and betrayal was handled incredibly well. I also really enjoyed the different writing style of the interludes, very reflective and foreshadowing things to come.

Meehh. First one was better, was bored with the story halfway through.

Fantastic world building and enemies to lovers arc!

A good continuation of the first book.
