Holy Guacamole!! This book really does take the reader on quite a roller coaster of emotions. I really love that this book is told from the perspective of a dog because pets observe more than we realize. Enzo was right - he was a man in a dog's body. Dennis and Zoe were definitely characters that embodied the mantra of never giving up. I almost rated this a 4 due to everything that happened to Denny throughout this book but the ending bumped it back up. The last page was just absolute perfection. The car goes where the eyes go!
