I cried, and cried, and CRIED!! This book was very well written. At times I could not put the book down. And before I knew it, the book was over. Definitely a good read and a tear-jerker. Enzo was very likeable and intelligent. This book even made me consider getting a pet, lol.

The Audible narration was nice: hearing a dog talk with such emotion pulled me into the story! The climax was pretty abrupt, but I loved the ending.

I would give this a 2.5 if I could, but I can't really give it a 3 (LIKED IT). I found it a bit slow and the ending was a little cheesy. And REALLY... who is that mean???

The dog on the cover of the book implores you to buy it. I gave in to the dog's soulful eyes and purchased a book I've never heard of. I'm a sucker.

Enzo, the dog, relays the entire book to us. It never ever veers from Enzo's point of view and that's really for the best. The world seen through the eyes of a dog is an amazing one. Enzo wishes to be reincarnated as a man, but after reading this, I wouldn't mind being a dog.

This is an unputdownable story that will touch your heart and your funny bone. It somewhat reminded me of Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom in that it is full of love, compassion, wit, wisdom, and inspiration. Read it, you'll be glad you did.
