The Art of Letting Go

We often struggle to let some people go especially when they made that decision. We question the universe, we question ourselves and we question everyone around us but we never truly get our answers. Letting someone go takes time, patience and commitment to actively stop ourselves from relapsing and thinking about that person again. The Art Of Letting Go helps you understand why, how and when you should let someone go so you can move on and never look back.

“THE ART OF LETTING GO” by Rania Naim
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book is deep and full of wisdom. It is written for much younger audience. Teenagers and people in their early 20s shall be grateful to have stumbled on this little piece of work. It talks about the real-life experiences and lessons primarily focusing on relationships and heartbreaks which can be very beneficial for youngsters.
I particularly liked the emphasis on reading quotes and listening to music during challenging times that can really lift up our spirits and soothe us emotionally. Every chapter is a different kind of experience with different kind of lessons to learn. I’m sure almost everyone out there shall relate to at least one of the experiences that is mentioned in the book.
This is a very quick read for someone who:
- is holding on to the past,
- faced rejection and cannot fathom why,
- is holding on to anyone/anything toxic and not sure what to do about it or where they’re headed,
- is facing any difficult situation for that matter.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book as I love understanding why people act the way they act.
Here’s a few of my favorite lines from the book:
1. “If they weren’t good for you in 2015, they won’t be great for you in 2016. Let them go!”
2. “Holding on is believing that there’s only a past; letting go is knowing that there’s a future!”
3. “The more you realize that it’s ok to feel what you’re feeling, the more you heal!”
4. “With the awareness of every blessing, with gratitude for every gift, the unexpected paths we take with enough faith, hope and love often end up feeling like the place we are exactly meant to be!”
