Again starting a new "couple" in the series was slow to start for me, and I really wasn't sure where it would lead and how it would tie everything in the series up... about halfway through, maybe less than that, I was hooked on the storyline and couldn't wait to read more (but heartbroken that I knew there would only be one book left after this). Tatum and Wes were a better couple I thought, than Quinn and Deacon, and already I have noticed returning characters from the first several books, which was a great easter egg of sorts.
