My first Uketsu book! I really enjoyed following along with each of the eleven files; they stand well as interesting stories on their own. It was hard to put down, though largely because it’s such an easy read. I do wish the puzzles had been a bit more challenging. At times, there was too much hand-holding, and the ending felt predictable. Still, I’m optimistic about the other two books, Strange Houses and Strange Pictures. I’ve already started the latter. Overall, a solid start to reading for fun again!
