He is Judy Moody's kid brother. His favorite president is James Madison. He is the 4th president and he too is short. He wants to have James Madison be included in hte president's day. Stink's real name is James Moody. He also had a pet newt from school for hte weekend which shedded it's skin. Unfortunately, Judy was trying to help and she dropped the newt into sink and down the drain. She then turned on the garbage disposal. Hence, Newty went to Newt heaven. Teacher wasn't mad and she had the class write the adventures Newt could be having since Newt "escaped".
In this book, Judy measures Stink every night. One particular night, they find he is shorter than the day before. The school nurse deduces that every evening, our body shrinks due to the compression and weight of our body.
