Great story for romance

I was looking for a cute little rom com. This was a bit more instant than I thought it would be and a little flat in the plot and story line but it was cute.

Quick, fast paced, cute witchy novella. I always wish novellas would have more, so looking forward to the next book to hopefully get more Damien and Willow updates in Zain and Luna’s book!

This was an almost perfect all-vibes-low-stakes Halloween themed romance. It taps into all the things Halloween lovers get excited about, and the cat-turned-man plot will make cat ladies tee hee. I know this is by no means a literary masterpiece (could use more editing, basically anti-climatic at the climax, cringey sex terms), but damn did the epilogue just take me straight from living in an element of pure fun to rolling my eyeballs so damn hard they almost fell out my head. Y’all romance writers always have me until it ends with the protagonist being pregnant and then I’m out. personal preference here but baby makes three is not the final flourish for me. It is actually a fucking nightmare.

I just wasn't motivated at all to read this book. I felt like the author was more of a teller and didn't really show us what was going on. I don't think I'll read the book about the sister.
