I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Mariana, and I started this club as a way to share something that brought a little light back into my busy life—reading.

For years, I never thought I had the time. Life was full, nonstop, and exhausting. But one day, I picked up a book just needing a break from the endless to-dos and glowing screens... and something clicked. Reading became a small, peaceful pause in my day—even if it was just for 10 minutes before bed.

This book club is a cozy, no-pressure space for busy people (especially fellow parents!) to reconnect with the joy of reading. We pick one short book a month (under 400 pages), chosen by member votes, and hold an open discussion during the last week of the month—so you can join in whenever it works for you.

Whether you read the whole book or just a few chapters, you're welcome here. This is about connection, community, and carving out a little time for yourself—one page at a time. 💛

Here’s how it works:

⏳ Read at Your Pace: Whether it’s 10 minutes a day or a weekend binge, there’s no pressure. This space is here to support your reading habit, not stress it.
📖 Bite-Sized Books: Monthly reads are short novels (400 pages or less), chosen to be enjoyable and totally doable within the month.
📚Genre: Our main focus is Literary and Contemporary Fiction, though we’re open to exploring sub-genres and other genres that complement this style. Note: Steamy or spicy reads will not be included in the voting process.
📊 Monthly Book Polls: Each month, members vote from 3 curated picks. The top choice becomes our official read.
💬 End-of-Month Open Discussion: During the final week of each month, an open thread will be posted for the current book. Chime in whenever you have time—no scheduled meetings, no stress. Just thoughtful conversation at your own pace.
💡 Casual Conversations: Feel free to pop in anytime to share a thought, drop a quote, or start a mini discussion. Every contribution counts.
