Six summers ago - Liv and Finn meet working in a bar on the rugged Cornish coastline. Tragically one night livs parents die in a car crash and Finn stays with her to support her through her grief before he returns to LA with his band. Finn lives in LA after his mum was thought to have committed suicide on the edge of a cliff so Finn goes to life with his dad and his brothers stay in Cornwall with his grandparents. Finn returns every year over livs parents anniversary and if they are single they will spend the summer together.
