Saving Jacob: A Dark Paranormal Romance (Fated Mates)

Dark Paranormal Romance is a first for me… of many!! And this cover is absolutely stunning 😍!! Jacob is a wolf who has been downtrodden and roaming around sullenly for thousands of years until he meets a witch who tells him that he’s going to find his fated mate. This news gives him hope and fuels his hunt… Angie, a witch and single mom of 4 children, is his fated mate. Together they join forces to save their community from their biggest op, Aya Bailey. During the cold snap we recently had I decided to try something different and this cover gave “cozy winter read”. I’m so glad that I stepped out of my shell and tried something different because this was a terrific reading experience. I loved the main characters and the other wolf pack and family we get a glimpse of. What I loved most is that even though this is paranormal romance/fantasy, the story had a human element that made it easy to read and get into. Kinda like dark fantasy romance for beginners, which is perfect for me. I loved this wolf/witch world. I loved how they started to see their powers - Angie and her children - emerge and how they worked so magically together. Jacob and Angie’s chemistry was magnetic, she really stirred up the beast mode in Jacob🐺! It was hotttt 🥵 Let’s get into the narration: the male narrator Myles Washington was fantastic. His raspy, rushed tone was exactly how id think a wolf would sound like. A little Pop Smoke-ish My only regret is that I didn’t start at the beginning of the series. This was a winner and I highly recommend 🐺
