I really enjoyed this.

Princess Ilaria wants to explore Rome incognito for a couple of days, so she switches places with her assistant, Anne. However, during her outing, she mistakenly takes two Vicodin pills instead of regular headache medication, causing her to pass out. A man named Callum—a charmingly Scottish photographer, finds her unconscious and takes her to his home. As he shows her the beauty of Rome, they begin to develop feelings for each other.

Will her secret identity spoil their budding romance? How will Callum react when the truth comes to light?

This sweet novella offers an endearing story and a heartwarming happy ending, making it a delightful read, even if it may not be groundbreaking.

The book was very short and sweet. It was giving hallmark Christmas movies and I really enjoyed it. I probably would have smacked Callum but it’s cute how they made up and all that!

I liked the twist on the princess pretending to be a commoner, meets a handsome commoner and they have a romantic day together, but this time it turns out that commoner is a prince also trying to escape the suffocating life of a royal.

This felt very Hallmark movie, but I enjoyed it the way I enjoy a Hallmark movie when I'm in the mood for it.
