Things have been wrong with Mr and Mrs Wright for a long time. When Adam and Amelia win a weekend away to Scotland, it might be just what their marriage needs. Self-confessed workaholic and screenwriter Adam Wright has lived with face blindness his whole life. He can’t recognize friends or family, or even his own wife.

Every anniversary the couple exchange traditional gifts--paper, cotton, pottery, tin--and each year Adam’s wife writes him a letter that she never lets him read. Until now. They both know this weekend will make or break their marriage, but they didn’t randomly win this trip. One of them is lying, and someone doesn’t want them to live happily ever after.

Ten years of marriage. Ten years of secrets. And an anniversary they will never forget.

Rock Paper Scissors is an exciting domestic thriller from the queen of the killer twist, New York Times bestselling author Alice Feeney.

Read in one sitting. Easily digested and entertaining. Pretty much what I expected.

I would prefer it without the last two chapters. I hate when they end too neatly.

Alice Feeney does not disappoint with this one. It is a creepy, twisty thriller set in a remote renovated chapel for a weekend getaway. Adam and Amelia have a strained marriage when she wins a weekend away to a romantic chapel in Scotland. Is it just what their marriage needs or will it be the end of their marriage? Told in alternating chapters between Adam, Amelia and later Robin, it kept me intrigued and wanting to read more. You will have to read to find out who Robin is.

Great twists at the end, they just keep
coming. Sadly you have to get through the rest of the book first. I have not yet met an alice feeney charecter who is likeable!

Loved this book. The character development was well done. The book was gripping. Loved the 'letters' sent to the husband, but were never sent. The reason for 4 stars instead 5, is due to the fact that the end was a little rushed and felt somewhat unfinished. However, Alice, you created a good thrilling tale that I thoroughly enjoyed.
