Wowser!! Best thriller I’ve read in a while. I’ll definitely read it again this Winter to see if I missed any hints along the way. I’ll need more of Alice Feeney. At one point I thought I had it figured out, but then about 80% through, WHAM! NO! A huge twist. Add in a few more twists. I really wanted to go back to the beginning and begin again.

Very creepy and kept me guessing til the end. Great dark, scary read. I enjoyed it. The characters were well thought out. I'm not sure I bought the author's understanding of prosopagnosia. I just decided to lean into the idea that Adam had a severe case.

This book was very slow and I feel like only the last few chapters really made the story worth it. Not a great book compared to other thrillers but the plot and twist at the end made the boring beginning worth it.

Adam, for example, seems to be a workaholic who absolutely sucks at communication. Yet, he wants to blame it on his wife Amelia. The quote "Marriages don't fail, p...read more

Unreliable narrators and twists and turns and insinuations…I am still thinking about this book
