Riding the High: A Silver Pines Novel (Silver Pines Ranch Series)

In the steamy third novel in the Silver Pines Ranch series, a newly appointed sheriff and a congressman’s daughter must keep their impulsive Vegas nuptials hidden to protect their reputations—but what happens in Vegas rarely remains secret.
Her heart is wild. Only he can capture it.
When Cole Ashby is appointed Laurel Creek’s interim sheriff, he is determined to prove himself as the best man for the job. A devoted single dad, his goal is to lay steady roots for his young daughter.
As the daughter of a Kentucky congressman, Ginger Danforth’s life has always been about neat appearances. But inside, she’s dying to break free and embrace the sense of adventure that runs through her veins.
During a wild weekend in Las Vegas, Ginger and Cole play a game of truth or dare and, after a few too many drinks, find themselves hitched in a neon-lit chapel. With no quick way out, they strike a deal: stay secretly married until Ginger’s father is reelected and Cole lands the sheriff job permanently.
But as the pair are forced to spend an increasing amount of time in each other’s company, sparks continue to fly and their accidental marriage starts to feel dangerously real.
Until they forget they were ever pretending at all.

Book 3 in the Silver Pines series just might be my favorite yet. I loved this bookâthereâs just something about a single dad that hits different, and Paisley Hope absolutely nailed it.
Tropes Youâll Find:
â Single Dad
â Brotherâs Best Friend
â Accidental Marriage
â Friends to Lovers
â Found Family
â Small Town Romance
This story had it all: heart, heat, and so much charm. It was as sweet and emotional as it was sizzling hotâthe spice was seriously spicing. The characters felt real and lovable, the chemistry was undeniable, and the emotional moments were so well done.
If youâre a fan of small-town romance with just the right mix of heat and heart (and a swoon-worthy single dad), Riding the High is a must-read. Paisley Hope keeps getting better with each book!
Thank you so much NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for this amazing E-ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.

"Riding the High" is hands down, best book in the Silver Pines series. I do not think Cole and Ginger can ever be topped and I will d!e on this hill. I went into this book blindly, not reading the synopsis and was thrilled to find out it was a single dad/best friends brother/small town trope. Cole's filthy mouth was everything and Ginger HAS to be a relative of Willa Grant (IYKYK) Fantastic book Ms. Paisley Hope! Thank you Random House-Ballantine and Paisley Hope for giving me an early copy to read! #RidingtheHigh #NetGalley
