Content warning for violence, kidnapping, murder, blackmail, suicide, medical descriptions, and related topics. I really liked this novel. It was like Sherlock Holmes story plus high speed chases. There were some passages that I rolled my eyes at (we're told maybe a dozen times that the detective isn't fat despite how his perceived by like every other character) but it was fun to read. I'm not sure if I'll keep reading the series as the translations become available, but this was an enjoyable read!
