I thoroughly enjoyed this book. We are all flawed, and this book tries to “normalize” that. The message seems to be people may find happiness if they choose to not to wallow in their previous misfortunes and take a chance at life. If you don’t take that chance…well all I can say is that it may not be satisfying, but it will be “safe”. Is that good enough?
I know some of you may be unhappy because you didn’t realize there is a sequel. (I didn’t know that either). However,
I do think this book can stand on its own, and I love how it “ended”.
A mark of a good book is that it leaves you wanting more. And this author delivers, just like Colleen Hoover in “it ends with us.”
