Discover the internationally bestselling, off-the-charts sexy, inclusive, poly, kink-friendly, "why choose" hockey romance that made the Jacksonville Rays a Tiktok sensation - now with exclusive, never-before seen material!
When an ambitious sports medicine practitioner scores her dream job working for Jacksonville’s hottest NHL team, she knows the last thing she should do is get tangled up with a player. After all, how could she choose just one?
My name is Rachel Price, and two months ago I walked away from The Perfect Man—sweet, funny, and so sexy he should be illegal. We shared one magical night. No names. No strings. I never thought I’d see him again. I was wrong.
As it turns out, Mr. Perfect is the playboy grinder for the Jacksonville Rays, the NHL’s hottest new hockey team . . . and thanks to the ten-month fellowship I just landed, I’m his new physical therapist. Imagine my anticipation as those familiar muscled legs walk towards me, the way my pulse races as he reaches out to . . . shake my hand. The jerk doesn’t even recognize me!
This is going to be the longest ten months of my life. Because now Mr. Perfect Mistake is determined to use his every seductive trick to win me back. Meanwhile, I also have to contend with his best friend the surly team equipment manager, and an exasperatingly stubborn, superstitious goalie who’s convinced I’m his good luck charm.
This is my chance to prove myself, and I’m not risking it for anything. But between one unexpected night, and one secret revealed, these men are ready to test all my limits. Still, I can’t fall for a player—let alone three. Or can I?

Readers say *Pucking Around* is a fun, steamy MMFM polyamorous hockey romance with authentic, engaging characters, especially the strong, complex fema...
I loved this book! Best why choose I have read in a while!
I put this book off for so long and I don't understand why. the banter was fantastic, the relationships were so real. it was everything I could want from a poly Romance book
Rachel Price is “a Thai-food eating, scrubswearing, curses-like-a-sailor hot mess of a doctor. A born and bred rock’n’roller who grew up dropping acid behind the amps at her daddy’s sold-out shows.” She “has battled addiction, depression, and dysmorphia…all before she turned eighteen…she’s all wrong…and all right too…She’s strong.” She doesn’t take B.S. and their shine doesn’t blind her the way it has other women. She can handle them, protect them, and more than match them in strength. She is Doctor Rachel Watch-me-beat-this-dead-horse Price. And she likes to be shared.
Jake is their angel. He makes them feel bright and shiny. He sees them for all that they are. Caleb is their devil. He dances with them in the dark. He sees them for all that they hide. And Mars is their brooding Finnish Viking. “Jake is my joy. Caleb is my comfort. Ilmari is my rest. I want them all.”
They live together, they buy groceries and cook like a happily married throuple. And yet there is nothing but walls up between them. Things they’re not saying, feelings they’re not acting on, truths they won’t let out. They’ve got secrets, she’s got secrets, and they’re keeping it all a secret. “Three platonic f*** buddies and a hyperactive dog. What could possibly go wrong?”
When their relationship leaks to the press and threatens everything they’ve worked for personally and professionally, Rachel is faced with a choice: will she (a) break up with them all and bail? (b) pick one and yeet the others? or (c) put on her big girl panties and march out into her own dang spotlight and live her life boldly on her terms? Emily Rath’s Pucking Around is a goal horn call to “love the people you were destined to love” at any price.
this was a painful read. like so bad. i had to skip so much LOL i hated it
Wow, a lot sure can happen to a gal in 5 months!
Are there some problematic elements in this story? Yes. Was it enjoyable? Hell yes (so enjoyable that I am adding my first ever gif to a review)!

This was such a fun take on a RH MMFM relationship, but oh yeah...what mess. While it is a loooong book that could have easily trimmed ~300 pages without losing anything from the (lack of) plot, I never felt the need to skim. It is a very easy read and, for the most part, well-written.
Each character is fun, but they all read college-age NA to me rather than their actual 27-30 y.o (with the exception of maybe Ilmari). There were a number of times I had to eye roll over some of their choices or actions, but again, it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment of the book.
All-in-all, it's a low angst, high steam, insta-love, sex fest of a book!
