Before you dive into this one, you should know that this doesn’t really follow the next chapter of Norman Bates! Instead, it mainly focuses on Dr. Adam Claiborne after Norman manages to escape the hospital (where he has been since the end of the last book). We follow the doctor to California as he is certain that Norman is going there because of the movie being made about him. Dr. Claiborne wants to put a stop to the movie before Norman can do so himself!
While it is very different in tone compared to the first book, it’s still very good in its own way. A page turner! Entertaining!
