This is my first introduction to D/s culture since Fifty Shades and it is drastically different from that. I didn't really like Knox for most of the book. I felt like he was manipulating and only wanted Aisha because of who she was outside of the Gold Room. It also felt like he tried to create a trauma bond with her because of their toxic fathers. I wouldn't read it again.
