These books are such fun, so I hope the authors continue producing them. But to be honest, I had to basically skip the first few chapters of this one, as my mind just couldn't "take in" what I was hearing (in the audiobook version). It was too much background or exposition or something, and not enough substance to play on my mental movie screen. But once the main story started, the mental movie screen was alight with images and action and lots of fun (as well as some serious suspension of disbelief about how Wendy made it to the island!)
