I really liked this book if I don’t think about it too hard. When I start to think, I notice the plot holes that make me scratch my head. Oh and the whole “bunny” as a pet name made me cringe every time I read it. 😂
This was my first time reading something from this author. Just from reading the blurb, I figured there was a good chance that I would enjoy this one. It turned out to be so much better than I ever expected. The romance and steam was great, but the suspense and plot twist made it even better! I normally can see a plot twist coming a mile away, but this one I just couldn't figure out. I knew something wasn't right, but I couldn't see it until the author laid it all out. My only complaint was that the end felt a little abrupt. I mean, I'm happy they still got the HEA, but I could have used some more time to get a better understanding of what happened from other perspectives. Overall, I thought this book was great and am very interested in looking into what else this author has written. Enjoy!
OH MY GOD!!!! Even though I read the blurb and have love and trust the author's work, I was not prepared for all of this. Oh my gosh. I devoured this book in hours. I couldn't sleep because I was addicted to this book. The pace of this book, the suspense was perfection. The mystery, the guessing what will happen and what was going on. The last 25% was a complete mindf***. I cried, I got angry, I got happy. This is for sure an unconventional HEA, but so satisfying and the smut/spice... top tier... just saying.
I figured out what was going on when Fiona talked to Kayla about ghosts so all suspense was gone at that point. However, I did want to see how the author explained everything so I finished the book. I enjoyed it. I wanted more story with Kayla and Aidan after Kayla figured it out. But overall I liked the book.
