This was a fun read - a young woman who seemed to lose her groove for adventure and love, tied down to a hum-drum existence of climbing the ladder at her non-profit. And while she truly felt her career path was a worthy one, her personal life became the pits. Even her dad has found love after her mother’s passing. So she begins a quest to re-ignite her soul, 8 years after her post-grad trip to Europe, by taking a sabbatical to repeat it, and also reconnect with old loves. Her highly-placed directorship doesn’t allow her to forget about work, though, and work - especially one annoying co-worker - keeps intruding on her time and attention as she makes her way across the continent. And this journey contains surprises of its own. Personally, I’d be hopping mad if my sabbatical was not honored like this … but then we wouldn’t have had such a fun adventure and love story in the end. Loved it!
