As a horror writer, you cannot top what Ketchum did with OFF SEASON and OFFSPRING.
We're all trying to accomplish what these two books delivered—pure, brutal terror, that is both unimaginable and yet completely realistic.
Ketchum was just plain special.

I will continue to reread these books for lessons and inspiration.
