Now a Netflix Original Film!
#1 New York Times bestseller

An ill-timed storm on Christmas Eve buries the residents of Gracetown under multiple feet of snow and causes quite a bit of chaos. One brave soul ventures out into the storm from her stranded train, setting off a chain of events that will change quite a few lives. Over the next three days one girl takes a risky shortcut with an adorable stranger, three friends set out to win a race to the Waffle House (and the hash brown spoils), and the fate of a teacup pig falls into the hands of a lovesick barista.

A trio of today's bestselling authors--John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle--brings all the magic of the holidays to life in three hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and kisses that will steal your breath away.

"A comedy as delicious as any whipped up by the Bard." --Washington Post Book World

As I am so behind on reviews and as there will be plenty of reviews for a book that was written by such popular YA authors, I'm going to keep this short.

Three short stories that are interconnected.
Three different authors - Maureen Johnson, John Green, Lauren Myracle. I'd only heard of and read John Green.

The first story was The Jubilee Express. It was cute and quirky. Likable characters. This made me want to read more Maureen Johnson (but only when I'd have some extra time).

The second story was A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle. John Green's writing just hits me. His writing is just really, really, REALLY good. I kept wishing he had written all three stories. While it followed the basic Green formula (Green = Quirky, witty, slightly nerdy male + female character who is cool and a friend and not too girly + equally skinny and nerdy and funny best (male) friend), that was just fine with me. It made me laugh and "awww."

The third story was The Patron Saint of Pigs. Eh. I just don't know. The writing wasn't quite up to par. The main character was not my cup of tea. She had the depth of a spit puddle, and I was in no way rooting for her.

I liked this book but wouldn't re-read it.

This was a cute little collection of stores. I found myself wishing that at least one of them had been GLBT. But, such is the life of someone not hetero.

The stories were great :) And I liked that they all wound together!
