“No Beast So Fierce” is a compelling retelling of the Champawat Tiger, spending ample time discussing the historical significance that made the tiger into what she became. Having already heard this story, this book added much more than I already knew, giving lots of insight into politics of the region, as well as the environmental impact that those leaders had created. It was a very well-rounded look into the story, as well as Corbett, the man who took the fatal shot that ended the terror of the tiger. This is a viewpoint saddening story, but is told in a way that is digestible and interesting.
