I was hesitant to read this when I first received it in the mail because it was the third book in a series. One of my biggest peeves is reading a book and realizing it's part of a series and I haven't read any of the others. Thankfully, it seems the Redemption Hills books can be read as standalone!
First of all, this alternate cover is stunning! The original is pretty great too, but I am in love with this floral design.
I don't tend to read a lot of MC (motorcycle club) romance but this one also had a mafia element mixed in and I found it to be quite an enjoyable storyline.
There's a forbidden first love that transitions in to an enemies-to-lovers, second chance romance with lots of sexual tension, steamy love scenes, and vengeful suspense.
Pending my ever-growing tbr, I would definitely consider reading the rest of this series.
