Say It's Forever

From NYT and USA Today bestselling author A.L. Jackson comes a forced proximity, single-parent stand-alone romance about a woman on the run and the man who will do anything to save her...

Jud Lawson found me stranded in the rain.

Broken down on the side of the road in a deserted neighborhood with my piece of crap car.

I wasn't looking for a hero, and definitely not one who looks like him.

An obscenely hot, mountain-of-a-man who screams danger.

But I have little choice other than climbing onto the back of his bike.

One look at Salem Aguilar, and I'm hooked.

The girl is devastation wrapped in a black, seductive bow.

A knockout.

A dream.

Turns out, she needs a job, and I need the help.

Now I have a vixen strutting around my shop, and I'm the fool who's itching to reach out and take what he can't have.

But neither of us can ignore the burning attraction.

The fire that leads to a kiss.

A kiss that has us falling into my bed.

The connection that has me wanting the one thing I'd never thought I could have again.

Because monsters like me don't deserve love.

Only Salem has a secret, too.

She's been running for years, and her past just caught up to us...

𝐵𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑘. 𝐹*𝑢𝑐𝑘𝑖𝑛. 𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑐. I never tire from reading anything that whips from this authors fingers and mind, there is nothing like reading another masterpiece from A.L. Jackson. From the moment I seen the cover of this book I knew I would be blown away with what was written inside. And yet another couple, Jud and Salem, who have unmistakable chemistry have implanted themselves into my being. You get drawn into the world that is Redemption Hills, you get entangled in the lives of Jud and Salem and every other character written in this book and it gives you that edge of suspense that only Jackson can give you and once it’s over it only leaves you wanting more. **hint, hint** My hope for the books that come in the future, I hope we get a Juni and Gage story just like the one we got of Evan and Frankie Leigh in “Hold On To Hope.”

Say It’s Forever (Redemption Hills #2) Written by: A.L. Jackson A.L. Jackson is a weaver of words, she takes “alls the words” and gives readers a story that pulls at your heartstrings, takes hold of your emotions, and leaves you with an ending that wraps you up in hugs of love. She has outdone herself in Say It’s Forever. From the moment Jud and Salem meet it is full of push and pull, back and forth, want and need. These two circled each other like two fencing masters. Their meeting on the side of the road, their back and forth banter – Salem’s ”touch me and I stab you” and Jeb’s ”Not out here to hurt you” continues until she knows that he can be trusted. The whispered words, the tender touches and the emotions felt bring them together. But dreams of the past and the thoughts of running start whispering again, we know that something will happen, just not when or where. Expect the unexpected and if you’re like me, you were shocked when it all comes out. With all that to think about, she has given readers the best of the best of five-year-old “cool” kids. If you have read Give Me a Reason, book one of this series your already acquainted with Gage. Well add to the cuteness of that little boy, the ultimate girl side kick Juniper. Juni Bee and Gage will keep you engaged and smiling and they bring a whole side of fun, wise five year old words, and life through their eyes. Already promised to each other in marriage (they decided this) but with none of the Blechy kissing, are we looking at a future couple? Say It’s Forever brought back Eden, Trent, Luke and Tess who are all supporters of Jud and Salem. I’ve only recently started my 2022 list of best books I’ve read, but I can tell you now I had no problem adding this book to it! This is a 5 star read from beginning to end as far as I’m concerned. Add this as well as Give Me a Reason (book 1) to your TBR, you won’t regret it.

This is book 2 in The Redemption Hills Series and it's just as AMAZING as the first. Ms. Jackson is an amazing writer that gives us 2 broken main characters, throws in one hell of a story, and this time around we get 2 of the cutest kids ever, and a sassy grandma to round it all out. Jud was the gentle giant we all loved in Trent and Eden's book, Give Me a Reason, but we get to see all of his broken pieces with Salem who is easily as broken as he is. Jud finds her on the side of the road in a storm, broken down, trying to get home and the big bear can't let this woman stay in a sketchy part of town waiting for a ride. She bewitched him the moment she laid eyes on him, but a man like him didn't deserve a woman like her. Salem's constantly running, looking over her shoulder, waiting for the monster she escaped to find her and her daughter and drag her back to hell so she can LOOK at this beast of a man with the sexy, devilish smile, all ridiculously tall and wide ready to devour, but she doesn't get to be happy. No matter what lurks in the dark for both of them, they're a mess, but a mess together. AL, is utterly amazing with weaving and interweaving the lives of the Lawson men and the women they love. The devastating parentage, the loss, the destruction, and their desire to overcome who and what they once were forced to be is a story that will keep you reading through the night. Yes these books can standalone, but why read one when you can read them all. I am desperately awaiting Logan's book, and I love that there's overlap in the timeline and a fair share of the siblings and their partners together on page. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED READ!!

Every new release I read from Jackson I say, ok nothing can top that. But this amazing author always tops it! I LOVED LOVED LOVED the characters in this story. Their battered, beaten down pasts that kept them from living their lives to the fullest. Except for little Gage and Juni Bee though, they were amazing little children. The prose was so so beautiful, as always. It enriches the romance so much. And doesn’t cheapen it, even the hot scenes were so freaking romantic. I feel like I just sit there thinking the men in books like these are the perfect men!! There was lots of emotional pain sorted throughout, there’s was suspense and shocking revelations. But the romance is what keeps you invested, along with the close family atmosphere. So if this sounds like your kind of book, grab it and savor every word.

OMG Another AMAZING Redemption Hills series book about Jud Lawson. Jud has the dark past in him, trying to play by the rules now and do right. Salem is a single mom with the same desperation in her eyes he sees in the mirror. Her daughter Juniper is adorable. I have been having the worst time reading lately but I couldn't stop today so I got to the beautiful ending and the Epilogue brought be to tears. AL Jackson writes beautifully lyrical words that draw you in and you can't turn your eyes away. LOVE LOVE LOVE Cannot wait for Logan's story. Already preordered.
