My Choice Is You

This was my first book my Mel Dau, and it was okay. I loved that our FMC Covi was on the spectrum, this is now third book where the lead is on the spectrum and I love to see how each character’s story differs. Her straightforwardness and innocence were funny at times but also taught her some interesting lessons on interacting with the people around her and cues. I was on the fence about Jasper because his moments where he’d acknowledge his toxicity and still did it would get on my nerves at some points and at others I felt like Covi’s dad where I just had to smh and laugh because Covid loved it. He was very serious about being all about her from day 1 tho and never wavered so I liked him got that. 

I also loved that Covi found her girls through this because she really needed real friends. 

All in all, this was a cool story. I’ll definitely be checking out more from Mel Dau’s catalog
