I thought this was really, really good...but I'm still not sure I liked it.
Wasn't into the rebellion plot too much or maybe just wasn't a fan of the execution.
I never wanted this book to end. I loved it so much that I read anything else ever written by Suzanne Collins I could find!
This was my least favorite book in the series. The plot was okay but the storyline and characters were better. My favorite parts were when Katniss did the first propo message to Snow, and when she sung The Hanging Tree. My favorite character was probably Prim, and it was sad when she died, although it felt too quick and blown over. I also don’t think Finnick should’ve gone with the star squad and then unfortunately died, since he had just gotten married. Tigris’s shop reminded me of Aberforth’s shop with the tunnel from Harry Potter since they both had ways to hide before getting to the villain. I didn’t like the ending, it felt too rushed through and it didn’t tie up as neatly as I would’ve expected with Katniss being locked up and isolated. I also didn’t want Katniss to end up with Peeta. Overall, I thought it was a sad book.
Fitting end to the trilogy. I completely enjoyed all three of these novels.
