I’ve been reading books this past couple of weeks that just are not doing it for me, but this book has brought me back to life. So wonderfully written! Presly is a beautiful introverted young woman with a heart of gold. But she’s in a toxic relationship with F boy, Houston. She meets Rasheed and is overwhelmingly smitten with how being treated right can scare you and refresh you all at the same time. Her dad and her grandmother are hilarious. I enjoyed this so much. The only thing preventing me from giving it a higher rating is my feelings about so much of the book’s beginning being about Houston. I would like to have seen more time given to Rasheed. I would also love to have seen Rasheed and Houston physically face one another so that Houston could have seen Presly being loved out loud and he be made to have felt all the disregard he made her feel. Nevertheless, this was great. Thank you B. Love!
