Excellent series! You’ll read till the wee hours to see how it ends!
Not sure how to feel about this. After having seen the movie, I was so drawn to the character of Lisbeth Salander, and so shocked to find out she was only like a side character in the book—she just comes across as a collection of clichés stapled together. And then there's the broad descriptions of finance and fraud that go on for ages, as if Larsson is trying to make me care for a magazine company on the brink of failure all while I'm simply trying to enjoy the mystery aspects of the book. Just staggeringly boring, though I’m clearly facing a dilemma here since I don’t think the book would’ve been the same if not for it. At least the mystery part was a page-turner. The original title “Men Who Hate Women” describes it perfectly.
