It took a lil while to figure out which Zulu boy is the book is focus of the book since the last book didn't follow the same logic. But this time we are introduced to Mqoqi and Lahliwe as they navigate their challenging relationship. Towards the end I found myself having a soft spot for the Zulu boy as he didn't feel he belonged with his family and misunderstood and only related by blood.
