It is some weird reincarnation stuff going on that was wild but overall it was a great read that kept me captivated.
I absolutely loved this book. It made me want to read more of the grey Huffington series as this was my first read by her. I love how she portrays both males and females in the the entire Berkeley bred series as classy, wealthy, & deeply emotional all while journeying through their own trama . Huffington does a excellent job making you want to read the rest of this series and others she has written. She is my favorite author by far.
Malachi and Anna.. and Aussie.. and then Malachi and Aeir.. and then Maz.. the transferring of souls.. the book was deep and intriguing.. I enjoyed
Malachi and Aire were definitely different. This story was heartbreaking but also very interesting with the reincarnation aspect. While I did like it overall, to me it seemed like Malachi’s attraction to Aire was everything he loved about Anna. That’s where the connection was. He said she wasn’t an Anna replacement but everything he loved about her was what he loved about Anna. Makes you wonder if you strip all that away would there be any real connection? Also, Aussie’s dialogue just seemed a bit extra for a 2 year old.
This one definitely pulled at my heartstrings... the prologue messed me up as well, but after heartache comes healing and I'm glad that Malachi was open to healing. Aeir was like an angel on earth. The way she cared for not only Malachi but for his beautiful daughter warmed my soul.
