This was an insta-love book. I normally don't like that trope because the relationship development is always unrealistic and it's fast paced. This book wasn't any different but I ate it up. It was a decent read but it isn't one I would read again. For me, Luca was the saving grace of this story. He was fiercely protective and his relationship with the girls was so pure. I would have liked to learn a bit more about him. We knew what he did but there was literally no backstory into what he was doing when he wasn't with Ever. The book is called LUCA and it revolved around Ever. We mostly got to know Ever and her life struggles and what she has overcome. Despite all that I'm going to continue with the series because I liked Laike and Lyric. I did have a couple issues with it though that are spoilers.

What I didn't like:
- Luca was kind of aggressive and controlling at first. He had no claim to Ever but because he made up in his mind after the FIRST time he saw her she was it for him he seemed to think he was entitled to her. Sir...you haven't even talked to her? Once he understood he couldn't approach her that way he was likable.

- Ever was poorly developed imo. After years of being in an abusive relationship you would think she would have been different. She stood on business for like 1 day before she was folding minutes into their first date. She felt strongly about her independence and didn't want to give it up for no man. All it took was some sex and a meal before she was all in. That really irritated me. The next day he was buying her a house and told her to quit her job. Granted, he did invest into her business so she could still work but STILL.

- Why'd you have to describe Ken's complexion like that?
