3rd Re-Read for book club.
I so love John Matthew!! We saw him grow threw the last few book, into this strong bad ass man. His love for Xhex began as a teen and grew into a mated bond. Only problem Xhex went missing and captured by Johns worst enemy and enemy of the vampire race -Lash (F$%^&R)
After Xher frees herself, she become dependent on John as she goes through recovery and boy do they bond. They fit, both bad asses and both have had the same kind of trauma in their lives. These two are perfect for each other and they are constantly in heat.....sex scenes are intense!
I loved how we got to see Darius in this and Thorment, both are connected to John and soon more will be revealed about Xhex, which brings this couple even closer.
This is one of my favorites in this amazing series.
