If you like romance and fantasy, this is for you. Sex, lust, violence, and vampires. When I started reading, I thought the characters were POC, nope. However, I continued to imagine the characters as POC because it made the read easier to digest. The storyline kept me engaged. It's descriptive enough that you can visualize the scenes. The "sex" and foreplay scenes can be a little excessive. Granted, this is my first romance novel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The narration of this book is awful and makes me like the book less.
I don’t know how I switched to “ young adult” genres but totally enjoyed this. Nothing has to be taken seriously, just passion and fighting for what they love.
