In the beginning, I was so confused where the story was going. The start was crazy of a little boy being stolen days before Christmas by Santa Claus. And that had me hooked I wanted to know what was going to happen but towards the middle, it was just Long. I understood needing to know the back stories, but I thought it was never going to get to a point until the backstory started making sense and connecting, then I was interested. Then the ending blew me away, totally cried towards the end and probably throughout the book. Something resonated with me since I am mom thought of losing my child. I needed to know how the story ended..
I’m really not sure about this one. Suspenseful but took a really weird turn and character development wasn’t too strong.
Very dark. BUT this was a good thriller. Kept me guessing and I couldn’t put it down once I hit that 40% mark.
