It was ridiculous, of course. A coffee shop? In a city where nobody even knew what coffee was? Until six months ago, sheâd never heard of it, never smelled or tasted it. On the face of it, the whole endeavor was ludicrous.â

This was such a cute, cozy read. I love the book from the first chapter forward. I was eager to see the success of “Legends & Lattes” and how the rag tag band of characters became found family. Viv didn’t even realize what treasure she truly received and I loved once she realized it. This book warmth and made me want a baked good and hot beverage afterwards.

It’s cozy and super cute. Love all the problem solving and meeting new people. Love the chill DnD vibes. I just wish there was a bit more romance/romantic scenes. Also, would include creatures that are not very well known outside of DnD and would not give much explanation to why their nature was the way it was, expecting the reader to already know. Even though I’ve played DnD, I’ve never encountered a succubus and I have no idea what their aura is or why the succubus character did certain things. These creatures would be described physically but not magically or about their abilities. Despite this, I still really liked the personalities and rolls the characters had in helping the story carry on. I may not have a clue what a rattkin is but I absolutely love Thimble <3
