Lady Killer

Josie Schuller is a picture-perfect homemaker, wife, and mother--but she's also a ruthless, efficient killer! She's balanced cheerful domestic bliss with coldly performed assassinations, but when Josie finds herself in the crosshairs, her American Dream life is in danger!
A brand-new original black comedy series that combines the wholesome imagery of early 1960s domestic bliss with a tightening web of murder, paranoia, and cold-blooded survival.
"LADY KILLER is just as much splash-page gore as it is a biting commentary on American society, creating a well-balanced work for both fans of horror and of smart political thrillers." -fangoria.com

Oh my word. This was fun.
"And your family? Are they also one of these 'challenges'?"
"My family and the work are two separate things."
"Take stock, Mrs. Schuller. Look at what's important to you. And then consider what it might take to preserve that."
This could have been any one of the many, many conversations women have had to have about work/family balance. This just happens to be about work as an assassin/family balance. But work is work I guess. *shrug*
I loved this. Great art. Funny and violent and action packed and witty and female empowered. This was just a damn good time.
I'm so sad to see that there is only one more volume of this. Maybe I'm just a standard overly emotional woman, but that makes me feel a bit weepy.
